Shahaddah Jack
Shahaddah Jack is a 20-year-old bilingual spoken word poet and human rights activist from Tkaronto. Inspired by her diverse cultural roots, she recently released her debut single, "My Mother’s Daughter." A graduate of The Remix Project, Shahaddah addresses human rights, the Black experience, and adolescence through her poetry.

With performances on over 100 stages, including History, she was named BGC Canada’s 2022 National Youth of the Year and recognized as one of Streets of Toronto’s most inspirational women. Since starting her journey at age 12, she has performed at venues like Hot Docs Cinema and TIFF.
